Gogii Games Named as Finalist for 2 KIRA Awards
Apr. 19, 2010, Moncton, NB,The 12th Annual KIRA Awards finalist were announced last week, naming Gogii Games as a finalist in two categories: Export Product and Employment Growth. Gogii Games is well known in the casual game industry and is proud to be recognized locally for its growth in exporting their products as well as the employment growth. Recently Gogii’s team has grown again, tripling their size since 2007 and that seems to be the continuing trend for the foreseeable future. Gogii’s growth in employment is not the only growth they’ve experienced, at mid way through they’re fiscal year they’re already seeing a 35% growth in income over last year. Gogii’s games have been available worldwide online since its start and quickly some of these games got picked up for retail distribution in many new platforms. Now in 2010, Gogii has 35 of its products signed for retail agreements in areas such as: Russia, France, UK, Germany, Australia and Switzerland, just to name a few. Gogii is also on track for a 12 product launch year which 40% more than last year and makes it a very strong stable revenue model with their product a month strategy. They’ve also recently signed a distribution contract for their biggest seller Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse, for its sale on DS and Wii consoles. They also have 2 games available on iPhone, are in production for games on Facebook and are not leaving any markets untapped: they’re already in production for games on the newly introduced iPad. As Gogii still has many new and innovating products to be released, you can be sure this is just a beginning for the quickly growing company.
